Yasaka SK professional scissors are a Must for Barbers and Hair Stylists.
The model is available in two sizes: the 6.0 inch measurement for an overall instrument length of 155mm and the 7.0 inch measurement with an overall length of 178mm.
The model can be customized by applying two different types of screws:
– Precision Flat Screw that is a flat precision screw;
– Tension Adjustable Screw, that is a screw that allows you to adjust the tightening tension of the blades according to personal cutting preferences.
The model in the photo shows the traditional Yasaka flat precision screw.
The handle is semi-asymmetrical and the finger loops are tightened ensuring a stable cutting position.
The fixed finger rest is slightly curved to make the little finger adhere better, the blades are powerful, the cut is clean and soft.
This model of scissors is suitable for both roughing and cutting large strands of dry or wet hair.
The 6.0 size is also suitable for section cuts and precision work while the 7.0 inch size, being much longer, requires advanced professionalism to perform all the cutting techniques indicated above.
The instrument’s constitution material is ATS-314.

The ATS-314 used in the manufacture of the Yasaka professional scissors collection is produced by the Hitachi Metals company and is not the traditional steel commonly used to forge any blade.

The Yasaka ATS-314 has a special matrix whose composition has been enriched by other components and further improved to adapt it to its intended use, i.e. for the production of scissors for cutting hair.
Cobalt and other materials are added and the workable hardness has been improved.
