The Joewell “Black Cobalt” series has been improved and renewed in Design.
Its popularity and the need to meet the demands of increasingly demanding customers made it necessary to introduce an asymmetrical model.

The Joewell “Black Cobalt” series which now takes the name of “New Cobalt” represents the collection of professional scissors made in Japan preferred by stylists all over the world.

With a minimal and total black design, light, with thin and narrow blades, it is recommended to use them for precision work but also for the Blunt Cut, and for the Scissor Over Comb.
Made of a cobalt alloy (CBA-1), the model has slightly smaller grip rings than the symmetrical version.
It ranks among the best professional hairdressing scissors both for its cutting capacity and for its long duration over time.

The cobalt base allows you to perform your favorite cutting techniques even on dry hair.
The data of the Industrial Research Institute of Iwate, as well as those collected by the office of Professor Motomura, head of the Mechanical Engineering Course of the Science and Engineering Department of the Wasada University, demonstrate how the scissors composed of a cobalt base maintain better cutting quality than steel scissors even after 280,000 times of opening and closing.

The durability of cobalt can, however, change in relation to the cutting techniques applied by the professional, the characteristics of the hair and other conditions.
